caught your track on the radio last night, liked it much and was quite surprised to learn who did the marvelous vocals. Checked out the site tonight and discovered more brilliant tunes. Very promising, so just kepp going!

Hello, Paul et al,

First of all, thank you for "friending" me on last.fm and introducing me to your music. I'm not going to read the others' comments or any press prior to my comments because I just want to give my initial gut impressions.

Of all the songs on your site, my favorite is the Song of the Month, "Awake No Dream." It seems complex in its construction, instrumentation, and lyricism. The production value is excellent. Of the other snippets, all but two I listened to were in 4/4 time signature (I believe one was in 6/8 and another in 2/2 or cut time, if my terminology is correct) and most were primarily in a minor key. Reminded me a bit of Tom Waits, but I hate comparing musicians to musicians. I happen to love Tom Waits, so the songs resonated, but I'd like to hear a little more range in tempos, rhythms, and key. These are just constructive comments, and I'm certainly no music critic! I appreciate anyone who is making original music! And I really like the variety of instruments used in the songs. So, that said, I like the music and look forward to hearing more in the future. I'll check back for updates.

Cheers,
Stone

Indeed the music of Master's Monkey envelopes you into the land of make believe. This would be the perfect movie for Alice in Wonderland. Yes Wonderland it is. The tunes lull you into thought and give you back some of the energy and creativity that you once had in your youth. I like Waitesque music and so for me this hit the mark. I will listen on, explore and recommend to everyone to give their ears a chance to be honored by this artist.

i listened to all the songs on justaloud, i used that one song as an example.

As i said i didn't mean to offend anybody. I just don't get this idea of saying only great things. Can't i state what i really think? Does it always have to be "thumbs up", "keep up the good work" kind of thing?

*Lastly, i didn't think this comment would appear here rightaway. I assumed they'd read it first and decide what to do with it.* -They are free to delete my comments btw.-

Regards.
